About Me
My entire career has been building towards one goal: creating powerful content with purpose. I created Type A Communications with that in mind.
A journalism background…
I started my career as a journalist and newspaper editor, telling stories supported by solid research and powerful interviews, and searching out ideas that would appeal to my target audience. I honed my eye for detail while juggling multiple priorities—all on deadline.
Combined with marketing expertise…
Then I moved into marketing, becoming the in-house marketing manager for a small software company—applying my writing, editing and project management skills to reaching sales and business goals.
Comes content goodness
When I started working independently as a content creator, I became a weekly contributor for the National Post, one of Canada’s national newspapers. All while creating standout corporate content for companies like Oracle and OpenText. I eventually became the in-house Content Director for a global SaaS company, where I was charged with building out business messaging and executing a content strategy that would reach a sophisticated and diverse audience of buyers.
Today, I apply all of that experience to content creation, planning and strategy for businesses around the world. And I bring 20+ years of experience to every project I work on.
